EIKTO holds the groundbreaking ceremony for its 12GWh lithium battery project in Jianhu High-tech Zone

On the morning of April 29, the groundbreaking ceremony for EIKTO's 12GWh Square Lithium Iron Phosphate Power Battery Project was held at the Jianhu County High-tech Zone with great solemnity. Distinguished dignitaries attending the ceremony included the Deputy Secretary of the Jianhu County Party Committee, Gang Xu, the Director of the High-tech Zone Management Committee, Wei Wang, all members of the High-tech Zone leadership team, department heads, as well as the President of Anhui EIKTO Battery Co., Ltd., Deqing Zhou, and Vice General Managers Yunqiu Yang, Yusheng Qiu, Liping Zhou, Yongjun Wang, etc.

President Zhou gave an overview of the project

The leaders of Jianhu County announced the commencement of the project, urging all departments and sectors in the region to view this initiation as a rallying call for action. While supporting companies in implementing effective measures for epidemic prevention and control, they should actively execution of various favorable policies from the provincial, city, and county levels. They should adhere to the principle of "business first, service foremost, and development paramount" to provide full support in project approval, land supply, labor services, and policy guarantees. The county will give substantial financial support to alleviate difficulties for businesses and take practical measures to safeguard and support the project's development.

Secretary Xu delivered a speech during the event

It is reported that the Jiangsu EIKTO 12GWh Power Lithium-Ion Battery Project will be implemented in two phases (each capable of producing 6GWh). The project's products will primarily cater to the new energy segments, including industrial vehicles, new energy ships, energy storage, and engineering machinery. With a total investment of 6 billion yuan, and covering an extensive area of approximately 500 acres, the project is expected to generate an annual sales revenue of 10 billion yuan upon reaching full production capacity. Additionally, it is projected to stimulate the clustering of upstream and downstream industrial chain enterprises, generating a total industrial revenue of over 10 billion yuan.
