On the morning of September 27, the groundbreaking ceremony for China's first large-scale rooftop distributed photovoltaic power station for self-consumption, featuring highly efficient heterojunction components, was held at EIKTO's premises. This significant project is a collaborative effort involving EIKTO, Huasun Energy, and the China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, China Energy. The ceremony was graced by several esteemed leaders, including Zhengjun Luo, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Xuancheng Economic Development Zone, Hong Yu, member of the Party Working Committee and Chairman of the Labor Union, Guanghua Ding, Director of the Investment Service Center, Zenghua Zhang, Chairman of Kaifeng Construction Investment Group, Ming Sun, Deputy General Manager of the Anhui Company of the China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, China Energy, YunqiuYang, Vice General Manager of Anhui EIKTO Battery Co., Ltd. and Xiaohua Xu, General Manager of Huasun Energy Co., Ltd. At the event, Yunqiu Yang, Vice General Manager of EIKTO Group, delivered a speech emphasizing the company's proactive response to President Xi Jinping's carbon peak (2030) and carbon neutrality (2060) targets. He stressed the utmost importance of developing green energy and promoting energy conservation and emission reduction. In collaboration with Huasun Energy and the China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, China Energy, EIKTO will create the nation's first "Highly Efficient Heterojunction Component Large-Scale Rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station" project. The project boasts a total installed capacity of 8.48884MWp, with an average annual power generation of 8,695.9MWh. Compared to a thermal power plant, this photovoltaic power project is expected to save approximately 2,652.25 tons of standard coal for the grid annually, showcasing significant energy-saving and environmental benefits. Once completed, the project will demonstrate the combined utilization of solar and energy storage, as well as the integration of comprehensive smart energy solutions.
Leaders from the China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited, China Energy and the Xuancheng Economic Development Zone also delivered speeches. They highlighted the significance and exemplary nature of the "EIKTO 8MW Rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station" project in improving the local micro-ecological environment and the macro-regional ecological environment. The development of new energy is a crucial component of China's energy development strategy and an effective measure for the vigorous growth of the new energy industry in Xuancheng. The municipal Party committee, government, and the Economic Development Zone attach great importance to the successful implementation of this project.
Zhengjun Luo, member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Xuancheng Economic Development Zone, announced on-site that the "EIKTO 8MW Rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station" project has officially commenced. This marks the official start of the construction phase for the aforementioned project.
